It's been a while since I have done a recent reads blog post and I wanted to share some of my favourite reads from the last month or so! I have still been reading a tonne but I haven't been posting about what I have read much. If you follow me on Instagram (@hannahheartssbooks) then you might have seen a couple of these already!Recent Reads #32: Five Star Romance ReadsIt Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey

Definitely my favourite Tessa Bailey book so far and one of my favourite reads of the year!

It has everything to make it a must have summer read. The perfect combination of comedy, swoony moments, super steamy scenes and finding out where you belong.

This book is inspired by Schitt's Creek with our main character Piper being cut off and sent to the town where her father lived before he died and she meets Brendan who is a local fisherman.

As a long time fan of T L Swan books and this series specifically, I had extremely high expectations for this book and it did not disappoint! This book was everything you need in a romance with swoony men, super steamy scenes, hilarious moments and some drama.

I wasn’t sure what to think of the fact that they were talking online and one of them didn’t know as I thought that would be what the drama was going to be in their relationship but I was thrown completely off! I didn’t see what happened coming and that’s one of my favourite things about T L Swans writing.

I really loved Elliot and Kate’s relationship, they truly did not get along in the beginning and I loved how it came out of nowhere. The way Elliot was with Kate was so swoony. And let’s take a moment to talk about the hilarious moments with the animals, I was laughing out loud!

Overall, this was one of my favourite reads of the year and I highly recommend! If you’ve read the previous two books, you’ll love the appearances the brothers and their families make! Even Spencer, Sebastian and Julian make a cameo!

If you love the grumpy/sunshine trope, you have to read this book. I enjoyed this so so much and it’s definitely a favourite of mine for 2021. There is so many swoony moments and depth to the characters that were unexpected in the best way possible and added to the story and took it to new heights.

I literally couldn’t put this book down and I need the next brothers book ASAP!

This is a mafia romance so if you are fine with a little kidnapping and violence in your romance books, I highly recommend this. I loved this book so much that I have already read it twice. This is actually quite a funny book as well and even though our main man is involved with the mafia, he is so soft for his girl.
