Christmas Movie Recommendations #1

I love Christmas movies and I will watch them all. Especially if they are made for TV movies, I am a sucker for those. Over the next month and a half I will be sharing all of my favourite Christmas movies to get you feeling festive with some of my favourites from the last couple of years and new movies for 2021. Christmas Movie Recommendations #1Gingerbread Miracle (Hallmark Channel)

"A man and an old high school friend try to sell his uncle's business - a Mexican bakery that's famous for magical gingerbread cookies that grant wishes"

The first movie recommendation I have to share today is Gingerbread Miracle starring Merritt Patterson and Jon-Michael Ecker, I really enjoy anything Merritt is in so I'm so happy she has another holiday movie this year. I really liked this movie as it had all of the classic Hallmark Christmas romance movie traits but what I really enjoyed was getting to learn about Mexican Christmas traditions!

Christmas Around the Corner (Lifetime)

"A venture capitalist from New York travels to a small town for Christmas. Upon arrival, she discovers that the town's bookstore is in a dire state of disrepair and immediately takes it upon herself to revitalise the store."

This movie came out back in 2018 and it's still one of my favourites. Starring Alexandra Breckenridge and Jamie Spilchuk. I will watch anything with Alexandra in as I love her in Virgin River! If I'm remembering this correctly there is a little bit of an enemies to lovers vibe going on. I used to only watch Hallmark Channel movies and this one is what made me stop skipping the Lifetime ones as it was that good. If you have the Christmas24 TV channel, it's been on there a lot recently.

Coyote Creek Christmas (Hallmark Channel)

"While throwing a Christmas Around the World party at her family's inn, an event planner discovers Christmas magic with a charming father-son duo."

This movie is starring Janel Parrish and Ryan Paevey and I loved this one. The son of the father-son duo in this movie is a star and had me smiling so hard throughout the movie. He stole the show. The inn was a stunning backdrop, I would love to stay here myself and I loved how much of a role the inn played into the storyline. Similarly with Gingerbread Miracle, you get to learn a few traditions from how people spend Christmas around the world.
