Rare Beauty First Impressions

Rare Beauty has finally launched in the UK and I was so excited to get my hands on a couple of the products. Selena Gomez's makeup brand is available at Space NK (in stores and online). It launched last month and it was my birthday month so I received a few products for my birthday and then I ended up buying a few more. And truth be told, I have a few currently sitting in my online basket because I am already a big fan of Rare Beauty.Rare Beauty First ImpressionsRare Beauty First Impressions

Rare Beauty First Impressions
Rare Beauty First ImpressionsThere are 25 products available currently and I have seven of them to talk about today. These are all of my first impressions as I haven't tried them too much yet but I will have full reviews up over the next couple of months. But overall, even if you aren't a Selena Gomez fan, Rare Beauty is a brand you shouldn't skip. The packaging is stunning and unlike anything I have seen. With my order I got a sample of one of the primers as well.

This was the first cream brush I have tried in years, if ever. It has a light-weight and water-resistant formula and contains a blend of pigments and non-greasy and weightless oils. It will melt into the skin for a smooth, satin finish. It claimed to be mistake proof which was one of the main reasons I wanted to give a cream blush a try finally as they have always scared me. There are five shades available and Nearly Neutral is exactly what I had been looking for in a blush. I love this product and I will be ordering another shade soon! It really is easy to use and I love the way it looks on the cheeks. I am now a cream blush convert.

This is a liquid highlighter and Enchant is a light pink shade. These are going to work to provide weightless, long-lasting instant radiance thanks to light-reflecting pearl particles. It can be used on top of or mixed with foundation for a glow that won't fade, crease or settle into fine lines. I really like this product and it works well on top of foundation and with the cream blush. It gives the skin a stunning glow and I love that it has a doe foot applicator as all you have to do it dot it onto the skin and blend.

This is a tinted lip balm and the shade Praise is a peachy nude. They say these are sheer but they are pretty pigmented which I love. It gives the lips natural colour while hydrating and nourishing the lips. It has a lovely finish too. If you are lip balm lover like me then this product is a must have from Rare Beauty.

This is a medium coverage foundation that will leave the skin more even in tone with smoother looking pores. It will aim to provide all day wear without drying out the skin. It has a serum texture rather than a traditional foundation and has a breathable formula. It has a doe foot applicator which I love! I have only used this foundation a couple of times and I adore it so far. I love the coverage and it's definitely buildable. It's extremely comfortable and long-wearing too.

This is a hydrating concealer that will leave the skin with a radiant finish. It has a long-lasting and sweat-resistant formula that will help hide blemishes, redness and dark circles. It has a medium to full coverage that is buildable and like the foundation, it has a doe foot applicator. This is the one product from the brand that I am not sure if I love yet. I have been so used to the coverage that my previous concealers provide that this is just taking me some time to get used to. I do love the finish of it but I do have to apply quite a bit of product to achieve the coverage I like under my eyes.

This brush can be used with liquid, cream and powder formulas and has a pointed tip to allow for precise applications. It has vegan bristles and mimics the shape of fingertips for quick easy blending. I really like the brush so far for blending concealer directly under the eyes, the shape of the brush really makes a difference!

This loose powder will provide sheer, seamless coverage while helping to smooth, blur and control shine. It is a mineral powder that is light and airy when applied and the packaging is incredible and is the least messy loose powder I have ever used. I love the finish this gives the skin as it is slightly radiant and looks so healthy on the skin.

Rare Beauty is a cruelty-free brand.
