Rare Beauty Soft Radiance Setting Powder Review

I have always used powder to set my makeup but I always went with something matte until this year. I have been really enjoying Rare Beauty since their launch in the UK earlier this year and I have yet another product review from the brand to share today.Rare Beauty Soft Radiance Setting Powder ReviewRare Beauty Soft Radiance Setting Powder ReviewRare Beauty Soft Radiance Setting Powder ReviewThe Always An Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder retails for £21 and is available in five shades, I have the light shade to talk about today. It's a loose setting powder that aims to provide sheer, seamless coverage that will help smooth, blur and control shine. It also aims to be comfortable for all day wear and will add a subtle radiance to the skin.

I love loose setting powders and they are something I have often had in my makeup routines but I have never used anything other than a matte powder as I stated at the beginning. This powder really intrigued me from the before and after photos from the Rare Beauty website as it really did appear to transform the skin by making it so much noticeably smoother with a healthy looking radiance.

This is a beautiful finely milled mineral powder and the custom-designed sifter makes it easy and a lot less messy to use and it's one of my favourite things about it. I have been using this powder under the eyes to set concealer as well as for the face and I love it for both uses. Even if I want more of a matte finish for my face, I will still use this under the eyes. It's so lightweight on the skin while being blurring, brightening and making my skin look seamless.

I'm in my late twenties and while I still have periods of acne, my skin isn't as oily as it used to be. It was something I really struggled with but now I can go much lighter on powder applications. One thing I have noticed as I have noticed my skin age along with the fine lines is that my pores are getting more noticeable and this powder does a brilliant job at blurring them. It also helps prolong the wear of my makeup and I really have no faults about this product! My mum has much more mature skin and she loves this powder as well.

I love the way this makes my skin look so much healthier while smoothing and prolonging my makeup throughout the day.

Rare Beauty is a cruelty free brand.
