Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush in Nearly Neutral Review & Swatch

I had never been a fan of cream makeup products, they scared me so I never really tried them out. But as I have gotten older, my skin has changed and I need a little less powder in my makeup routine. Rare Beauty is a brand I can't seem to stop talking about recently and I am about to rave about yet another product! Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush in Nearly Neutral Review & SwatchRare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush in Nearly Neutral Review & SwatchRare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush in Nearly Neutral Review & SwatchThe Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush is available in five shades at Space NK and I have the shade Nearly Neutral. These cream blushes retail for £18 (on the day of publishing this post they are 20% off making them £14.40). This is product that aims to not cake or crease on the skin and will not clog pores.

It has a lightweight and water-resistant formula that is non-greasy and contains weightless oils. This cream blush will melt into the skin on contact to help provide a smooth satin finish. It claims to have a mistake proof formula which caught my attention while leaving the skin a natural-looking wash of colour.

As I have never used cream blush really at all since I have been wearing makeup, I took some time to find the best ways to apply this product and it really works well with any product or tool I use to apply it. I have tried a couple of different brushes and sponges and they all work brilliantly. But my favourite way to apply this is with my fingertips, it's so easy to blend and apply to the skin with your fingers and I do prefer the colour intensity when I use my fingers when compared to a brush. When I use a brush, I can much more slowly build up the colour intensity to how I like it which is one of my favourite things about the formula. It is so buildable and blends like a dream that is really is mistake proof even in a rush.

I adore the formula (and the packaging) of this product. It really does melt into the skin and applies well over base products - including powder! I was really surprised at how well this applies over powder! This shade is brilliant as it isn't peachy or pink toned so it can work with any eye makeup look or lip colour and I never have to worry about them clashing. It adds the perfect shade to my cheeks to add some life into them with a natural finish. It looks smooth every time I apply it no matter the tool, it doesn't settle into the pores and it has a long-lasting formula that doesn't budge throughout the day. Yet another winning product from the brand I have tried and now love! I can't wait to get another shade (or two).

Rare Beauty is a cruelty-free brand.
