For the last couple of months if I had any free time I was reading. But over the last month any free time I have had I have been watching Netflix and the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial. I am so invested in it that my days pretty much run around it so I can watch as much as possible. But outside of out of the trial, this is what I have been watching!Moon Knight (Disney+)
"Steven Grant and mercenary Marc Spector investigate the mysteries of the Egyptian gods from inside the same body."
If it's Marvel, I will watch it. I love the MCU and while I really enjoyed this series, I felt like I wasn't smart enough half the time to understand what was happening. Steven has my heart though. I highly recommend the series even if it did take me three hours to understand the ending.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
"Dr Stephen Strange casts a forbidden spell that opens a portal to the multiverse. However, a threat emerges that may be too big for his team to handle."
Doctor Strange is one of my favourite avengers and his arc to becoming Doctor Strange makes me laugh because if he hadn't have been texting and driving he would still be a normal guy with a normal life. I really did enjoy this movie while also disliking major plot points but I am very excited to see what happens next!
Our Father (Netflix Original)
"After a woman's at-home DNA test reveals multiple half-siblings, she discovers a shocking scheme involving donor sperm and the popular and controversial fertility specialist Doctor Donald Cline."
This documentary was insane and by the end I was sad with my jaw on the floor. I can't believe scumbags like Cline exist in the world and think what they are doing is okay.
The Lincoln Lawyer (Netflix Original)
"Idealistic lawyer Mickey Haller runs his practise out of the back of his Lincoln Town Car, taking on cases big and small across Los Angeles."
I have only watched a couple episodes of this so far but I am really enjoying it. I loved Suits and had been wanting a new legal-ish drama in my life and this dropped at the right time for me!
Anatomy of a Scandal (Netflix Original)
"Parliamentary minister James Whitehouse is a happily married man with a loving family home, then a scandalous secret comes to light."
British drama's aren't usually my thing but my friend Chelsea started this and we both ended up finishing it basically in one sitting. It is a fantastic limited series and isn't that far of a stretch considering what our current government is up to.
