It's officially Autumn and this season I am aiming to have a capsule wardrobe with a neutral colour palette. I was looking for items that will take me from daytime to evening as while I have a very casual style, sometimes it's nice to get a little fancier! 
With the world returning back to previous routines, I needed to update my wardrobe mainly with some shirts and blouses. These are great pieces to have in your collection as you can dress them up or down. The V by Very Trim Insert Relaxed Shirt in Ivory is one of my favourite picks as you can wear it a bunch of different ways. I have been wearing it in a more casual style with it open and a ribbed vest top underneath with the River Island Molly Mid Rise Ripped Dubz Jeans in Dark Denim.
For a more dressy yet still slightly casual outfit, I have been loving the River Island Molly Mid Rise Skinny Jeans in Black with the New Look Stone Collared Long Sleeve Wrap Shirt. I really love this outfit, if I was to pair it with heels instead of flats it would further elevate it for an evening look. This style of shirt is so flattering on my body shape which is always a bonus! River Island Molly Jeans are been my favourite style for a while now as they are one of the only styles that fit me perfectly and are comfortable to wear. Comfort is always key for me!
I love accessories, they are one of my favourite things to treat myself to and to gift and Olivia Burton has some gorgeous pieces. I hadn't worn earrings in years until earlier this year. And the Rose Gold Rainbow Interlink Huggie Hoops are stunning and I will definitely be wearing these a lot in the coming months. I don't wear my hair up often but for these earrings, I will be making an exception as the rainbow detail is too pretty to leave unnoticed. The Katie Loxton Alina Handbag is a stunning piece and I am so impressed with the quality. It's made with super soft vegan leather and I don't have a handbag this shape in my collection. It also fits a lot which is perfect as I am always carrying around half the house! You can wear this bag crossbody or with the top handle again, this handbag can work for day and night.
For shoes, I have two pairs to share. The first are the New Look Suedette Diamonte Ballet Pumps in pale pink. I love these shoes, they are very flattering on and the detailing is stunning. These are perfect for an evening event as I don't love wearing heels. The second pair are the V by Very Textile Toe Cap Ballerina, I can't believe ballet flats are back in style! I remember wearing them to school as a teenager. These reminded me on Chanel but are only £15 which is a bargain!
Both of the outfits I have created with these pieces are comfortable to wear a step up or two from casual which is perfect for me and I have a few events coming up that these outfits will be perfect for. The New Look wrap shirt will also be a great piece for work wear. And as I have been sticking with a more neutral colour palette, all of these pieces will look well together and with some existing pieces in my wardrobe.
