CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask Review

I have been desperately wanting to try out an LED light treatment product for my skin for a while now so when I got the opportunity to try out the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask, I jumped! This mask has been seen on the likes of Kourtney Kardashian and Kaley Cuoco and both of who have great skin so I was excited to try it out for myself.

The CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask retails for £279 and uses two clinically proven wavelengths, red and near-infrared to reduce wrinkles by 35% in just four weeks. It also targets skin concerns like acne, pigmentation and blemishes. Both of these light combinations are perfectly balanced to work below the skin’s surface to stimulate the natural rejuvenation process to create a visibly glowing and noticeably healthier-looking complexion. It’s safe to be used for those with any skin type and they recommend you use this about five times a week for ten minutes each time. 

When using this mask, you will need to use it after you have cleansed the skin. I like using it in the evenings and it’s a nice self-care item to add to your routine. I love that for ten minutes I get to sit (or move around if I need to as you aren’t at all plugged in while using the mask as it comes with a portable rechargeable battery pack) and leave it to get to work! This mask is flexible which not only makes it more comfortable to wear but it also ensures the maximum amount of light hits the lower layers of the skin to deliver both instant and long-term results. 

I have to say, I love this mask a lot and I’m already seeing improvements in my skin and it has been about four weeks since I started using it, there was a week when I only used it one or two times as I was unwell but regardless, the results are already impressive! I was mainly intrigued to see if it would help with marks left behind from acne and blemishes as well as with wrinkles as I am in my late twenties now and I haven’t been disappointed! I have slightly uneven skin tone and this mask has made a big difference, especially in terms of reducing the redness I have. I have always had redness and discolouration under my nose (no skincare product has ever helped much, it's an issue I have always had) and on my chin and it looks so much better already! It’s completely pain-free to use and there is no risk at all of having too much exposure, it’s 100% safe to use. 

As this is a light therapy mask, if you have sensitive eyes it can be a little strong (I personally haven’t had any issues) and if you do find this to be the case while using, inside the box are some comfort goggles to protect your eyes. Also in the box, is the mask itself, an instruction/care booklet and the USB charging cable and battery pack. Once the battery pack is fully charged you get at least 10 uses out of it before it needs recharging which I think is great! I found it to last longer than that.
