One of my favourite beauty products to try is mascara. I always have far too many in rotation and this is the second mascara I have tried now from the Huda Beauty brand. I really liked the first one but I hadn't seen any reviews of this newbie prior to trying it but let me tell you, this mascara is insanely good.
The One Coat Wow! Mascara retails for £20 and is the going to instantly make the lashes more intense and dramatic in seconds. It features a dual-sided silicone brush that makes coating the lashes so easy. It's is going to help curl, lengthen and add volume to your lashes in an instant. I don't know about you but I love layering different mascaras but this is the first time in a couple of years I have been really happy with the way my lashes look with not only just one mascara but without having to apply multiple coats!
The dual sided silicone brush wand is perfect to me as it has a mixture of short and long bristles that will lengthen and separate the lashes and there is a curved section that will help add volume. (My reel below shows this better than I can describe it). The formula of the mascara itself is creamy while not being dry or too wet that it can be messy to apply but is also well pigmented that you will notice a instant difference.
I was pretty intrigued to see if this would live up to the claims one only needing one coat as I am at minimum a two coat/dip mascara user. However I have been pleasantly surprised at the fact you really don't need to dip back into the tube! It's so quick and easy to use as the brush can really get into the lash line and the mix of bristles coat the lashes without getting a lot of product onto the skin. I can achieve the lash look I love within about 20 seconds!
It does such a fantastic job at adding volume and slight thickness to the lashes without creating clumps and adds a tonne of volume! I already have pretty long lashes at the moment as I have been using the Grande Lash Serum for a couple of months but this mascara adds even more length! I always curl my lashes but I do notice that this product not only holds a curl but does also curl the lashes further which I love. It has a formula that does hold up well throughout the day, I haven't experienced any transfer and while it doesn't claim to be waterproof, I absolutely sobbed watching the first three episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty season two and I needed no touch ups!
I absolutely adore this mascara and it will definitely be one I repurchase in the future.
