Favourite product alert, i have found the best pink matte blush! This blush from illamasqua and what's even better is that it is currently on sale, so get it while you can! There is so many things that i love about this product, i cannot get over it, it is making me want to go and pick a few more shades up before they go off sale! Lets get into the many reasons why i love this blush in the shade hussy...
Lets start with the packaging, it is different than all other brands for its shape and i love it! It looks so expensive (it kind of is if you didn't get it on sale). Another thing i love about the packaging is that you can see the shade without having to open it up, this makes getting ready a lot easier, i hate when you have to open up each blush just to see what shade it is! The Blush pan is pretty big also which means even if you use a bigger blush brush, your going to get an even amount on the brush!
The product itself doesn't have a scent which i like because i find that if i get a product with a smell i hate, i won't actually use it no matter how good the product might be!
Excuse the finger prints!
The pigmentation of this blush is out of this world, you need the tiniest amount on a brush to get colour pay off, in the picture below is only one swipe with my finger to get that pay off, obviously if you wanted a even stronger colour on your cheeks you could easily build it up! The blush itself if really soft and doesn't feel chalky at all and feels great on the skin. Along with great pigmentation with this blush also comes great staying powder, some days i will apply this at about 6am and it will still be on my cheeks at 9pm, a lot of blushes i use don't even last five hours let alone that many (i can't do the maths, its been too long since i left school!)
The blush is complete matte which is great if you had any glitter or shimmer on your cheeks. I prefer to use matte blushes if i am going to have shimmer on my eyes or a bright lip so it doesn't look like there is too much going on, on my face. This blush is the perfect bright candy pink matte shade, ever.
Even though i have really pale skin (im an NC15 for reference), i find that this does look good and i think it would work on all skin tones if you get the right amount on the blush, obviously if i built it up i would look like a china doll but with a tiny amount it looks lovely!
Would i recommend? 100% yes! I don't have a bad word to say about this blush, i will be purchasing other shades soon!
