I am still pretty new to brow products. Even though I have been doing my brows for a couple years, I am new to this type of product which is liquid based. If I am completely honest the Makeup Revolution Ultra Aqua Brow Tint* scared me because it is completely new to me and I had no idea how to apply it. After a couple reviews, I knew exactly how to apply it which saved me a lot of time because I know I would have got it wrong a few times! If you are looking for an expensive brow product that gives you those wow brows, look no further!
Shade Medium Swatched
The product is available in four different shades, fair, light, medium and dark so depending on what your hair colour is will depend on what colour you want for your brows. I have pretty dark hair and my eye brows are slightly lighter so I decided I needed the shade medium. It is a perfect match for my brows. As soon as it came through my letterbox I started testing it out and fell in love very quickly.
The best way I have found to apply it is to apply a small amount, when I say small I mean the tiniest dot, to a cotton pad and use your favourite brow brush to apply. I actually use the Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush as my brow brush has disappearing but I preferred using this brush because I had more control and precision over where the product went. You need to go very lightly with this product because it is so intensively pigmented you could end up with a brow disaster if you go in too heavy. I like to start to apply it in the middle first, down to the end and then do the part closest to my nose last because I have found that my brows look best when I do that. The picture below shows one brow with the product and one without so you can really see the difference, apologies for the shiny forehead, took the photo at the end of the day!
Left Brow without, Right Brow with Ultra Aqua Brow Tint
It has made a massive difference to my brows and I cannot thank Makeup Revolution enough! I have really small eye brows and I am trying to grow them in but I find some products make them look smaller but I don't have that problem with this. In terms of how well it lasted throughout the day, it looked as if I had just applied it even when it came to taking of my make up late at night- very impressive! It really doesn't budge once I applied it, some brow products, expensive ones at that, end up melting off or fading but not with this beauty at only £3!
I cannot recommend this enough if you are looking for a new brow product to try out just remember to go in lightly, a little goes a long way! The Ultra Aqua Brow Tint a 10g size for just £3 each, available in four shades. This is going to last be forever, amazing value for money! I think I have finally found my holy grail brow product. *happy dance*
