L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover Concealer Palette

If you read my review of the Total Cover Foundation, you will know how much I loved it (review here) so I wanted to give the concealer palette a try. This palette has really impressed me and I'm not usually a fan of products like this from any brand as I find them to be a little rubbish and not what I am looking for but this has become a daily must have!

The L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover Concealer Palette includes two colour correctors and three concealer shades all in a cream formula. You get a good amount of product in each pan and a good range of concealer shades. I like that they included the two colour correctors that they did as they would be the most popular shades needed to colour correct and the two that I would always use out of any of the colour correcting palettes I was using previously.

The palette itself is on the sleek side and doesn't have a lot of wasted packaging, I really like that you are able to see the shades inside when closed. I like that they didn't include any applicators or a brush as I have found it best to apply with your fingers and blend with a damp sponge. This palette is going to be perfect for any beginner at colour correcting as it has the two shades which I would say are essential for colour correcting and they really do make a difference!

While the palette includes three concealer shades, at the moment they are all too dark for me which I did think would happen when I purchased it, I would have liked if they had created a light, medium and dark option so that these three would match more skin tones better. Having said this, I know I will get a tonne of use out of these shades in the Summer when I have a little more colour and am topped up with fake tan!

All five of the shades in this palette are super creamy and easy to apply which I was really impressed with! With many of the affordable palettes like this, I find the cream shades to be on the oily side but that isn't the case with these. Each of the shades blends beautifully and is super long lasting! The three concealer shades are high coverage, I have tried them out a few times when I have been at home all day and I do like the lightest concealer shade for under the eyes when have I have a bit of fake tan on as it can cover anything and everything!

The real stars of the show of this palette are the two colour correcting shades. I am super lazy with my makeup during the week but I have actually been using them every morning and they made such a big difference! The lilac shade is going to help brighten dark circles and dullness and the green will help neutralise redness. As someone who always has dark under eyes and a tonne of discolouration and redness, I needed these two shades in my life! The lilac shade has been amazing for under the eyes at brightening and the green one has been a bit of a life changer for me as I do have a tonne of redness and this makes such a difference. To make sure that these are camouflaged, I like to apply these before my foundation and then go in with concealer under the eyes and on any blemishes if I need to.

By using all of these shades, it makes it so easy to achieve a flawless base, especially with the Total Cover foundation! To blend the creams, I like to use a damp sponge to work it into the skin before applying any product over the top of them and I haven't found them to crease or budge throughout the day! I would highly recommend checking this out just for the two colour correcting shades alone as they are the most pigmentated ones I have come across!
