April 2017 Beauty Favourites

Another month gone, another selection of beauty favourites! This past month I have been loving so many products but these are the ones I have been using the most. I bought so much makeup in April, you'll see the haul tomorrow that I am now on a 30 day spending ban so I can't wait to see what products I will love next month, hopefully some forgotten gems!

Right at the beginning of the month I ordered one of the new Stila Glitter Liquid Eyeshadows, the name is so long I can't actually remember it, in the shade Kitten Karma after hearing everyone rave about them. And they weren't wrong, these are incredible! They are so pigmented and packed pull of sparkle, I haven't used anything like these before I know I am going to want to get a few more shades soon! If you do want to get yourself one of these, order from Look Fantastic as they always have great discount codes so you can save a little money!

I love setting powders and after hearing Kathleen Lights talk about the RCMA No Color Powder so much, I finally ordered it. While I don't like the packaging at all, it is an amazing powder. It sets makeup so well and ensures foundation and concealer doesn't settle into lines or creases. The other powder I have been using is the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed. I ordered this a few months ago when QVC had a TSV on IT Cosmetics and I have been really impressed with it. I have quite visible pores and while I always use pore filling primers, you can still see them and this smooths the skin brilliantly!

My favourite blushes this month have been the Essence Silky Touch Blushes. These are around £1 each and you really can't beat them! They have great pigmentation while being easy to apply and super long lasting on the skin. Another cheek kind of product I have been loving is the Jeffree Star x Manny MUA Skin Frost in Eclipse. While the formula is a little different than the other Skin Frosts, I have been loving it. It is the perfect highlighter shade for my lighter skin tone. It is very intense and sparkly, just the kind of highlight shade I love!

As soon as Buxom launched at Debenhams, I ordered the Full On Lip Polish in Sophia and it has become not only a handbag essential but also my new every day lip shade. This is a plumping gloss and has gives the lips a tingly sensation to the lips, I actually really like how they feel! It isn't sticky on the lips either and the shade is perfect for every day. My final favourite this month has been the Vichy Sleep Balm. This is one of the new night time skin care products I really see results from, I always wake up to refreshed skin! This also helps with my acne and keeps the skin well hydrated.

What have been your favourites this month?

  2. I've brought too much this last month too, I can't wait to see your haul. I always hear such good things about the RCMA powder but should probably use the ones I have up first. I definitely agree the Stila liquid eyeshadows are incredible too.
