Soap & Glory Makeup Recommendations

Soap and Glory have been one of my go-to brands in Boots for as long as I can remember now. What started as an obsession with the body care then turned into a massive love of the makeup and skincare. I thought I would share some of my top picks from the Soap and Glory makeup range as I don't think the products are talked about enough!
Soap & Glory Makeup Recommendations
Base/Face

Soap and Glory make some of my favourite base products and I'm always recommending them to everyone! They make some of the best primers when it comes to oily skin and my first favourite is the One Heck of a Blot. This primer literally makes my makeup last from 5am to midnight with minimal touch-ups needed. Another fantastic primer from the brand is The Fab Pore 3-in-1 Oil Control Serum. I like to use this mainly in my T-Zone where I am oiliest and it makes such a difference in how my makeup lasts throughout the day. It also minimises pores to create a smooth base ready for foundation.

Speaking of foundation, if you have super oily skin then I highly recommend the One Heck of a Blot Foundation. This is a matte foundation that is incredibly long-lasting and as it does have a matte finish you don't need to apply a tonne of powder to make sure that it lasts all day. It doesn't settle into any of my pores or lines and it's my go-to foundation for Summertime as I know it isn't going to melt off my face. Another One Heck of a Blot favourite of mine is the powder, I have been using this so much recently! It mattifies the skin without leaving it looking powdery - It's great for on the go touch ups too. The final face recommendation I have from Soap and Glory is the Kiss Ass Concealer. It comes with two concealing creams and a setting powder which all work brilliantly together. Before I finished mine I would always use with under the eyes and it conceals and brightens so well without looking heavy on the skin.

Lips

For lips products, the brand is always a go-to when I fancy something new but I’m yet to try any of the lipsticks but I know I will be soon! The 3D Gloss Sticks are some of my favourite lip products I have ever used and at £3.50, they are a steal! These are also available in matte versions but if you know me, you know I’m not the biggest fan of matte lip products. These are so comfortable on the lips and my must-have shade is Pinkfetti.

If you are wanting a new plumping lip gloss then you need to try the Sexy Mother Pucker glosses asap! These have a delicious chocolate orange scent and are available in quite a few different shades. These glosses aren’t uncomfortable on the lips and have a smooth finish to them. They plump out the lines in my lips for a fuller lip that I can’t get enough of! These are some of the best plumping lip glosses I have tried so far. If you are looking for a fun, bold, metallic lip then check out the Spectaculips, they have matte lip creams and holographic glosses that are very cool, I personally love the glosses!

Brows & Eyes

The Soap and Glory brow range is one of the best parts of the brand and I have three favourites to share. The first is the Archery Brow Putty Dip & Brush, I love a brow pomade! As I do have pretty rubbish brows naturally, pomades are one of the best products for me as I can create a brand new set of brows with them! This one is extremely easy to apply and I love that it comes with a brush as I don't have to worry when I'm travelling about bringing one. I also like to use a brow pencil to create an arch or if I want to quickly fill in my brows on no makeup days and I can't tell you how many of the Archery 2-in-1 Brow Filling Pencil & Brush I have gone through! This is such a good brow pencil as its well pigmented and creamy so it doesn't tug at the skin but it lasts all day. My last favourite brow product from the brand is the Archery 2-in-1 Brow Sculpting Crayon & Setting Gel. I haven't had in this in a while but I can't wait to repurchase it soon. I can do my brows completely with this if I don't want to use a pomade and the setting gel is incredible stuff!

You can find Soap & Glory at Boots - HERE. It's worth noting that Soap and Glory are a cruelty-free brand which I love!
