REVIEW: Yankee Candle Summer Scoop Tart

After not using my tart warmer for a couple of weeks, I am fallen in love with it all over again. The scent, which I can't believe I have never tried, is Yankee Candle's Summer Scoop. I am a massive fan of the fruity and foody scents so seeing as this is pretty but a combination of my two favourite scents, I had pretty high hopes for it!
REVIEW: Yankee Candle Summer Scoop Tart
The scent is described as being like homemade strawberry ice cream - doesn't that sound delicious! To me it has that element of strawberry with a vanilla/cupcake/ice cream note so the description is pretty point on! Normally when I try and describe the scent of a tart, I am rubbish at it. The scent is very realistic, both in solid form and when melted, its a very natural scent and isn't at all artificial smelling which is why I always go for Yankee Candle.

As soon as I popped it into my electric warmer, the scent begun to fill up the room. This tart has amazing scent kick off and does fill up my room pretty easily without being to strong or over powering. The scent does linger out of the room and into the rest of the house making it smell like yummy strawberry ice cream. I burned it for almost the full 8 hours of recommended burn time before I couldn't smell it anymore. The last melt wasn't as strong as the first but I expected that, the only way I could them smell the scent was to leave the room for a couple of minutes then come back and I could smell the yumminess again.

I am 100% going to repurchase this scent, it has to be one of my favourites from the fruity/food family with my first favourite being Berrylicious, which I will have a review coming up on soon. Summer Scoop is available in a range of forms and candle sizes. Prices begin at £1.49
