BOOK REVIEW: Did I Mention I Miss You? - Estelle Maskame

It's not very often that I find a book series that I fall completely in love with and the DIMILY series is by far the best series I have read all year. Did I Mention I Miss You? is the third and final book in the DIMLY series by Estelle Maskame and she definitely saved the best book for last. If you haven't read the DIMILY series, stop what your doing and go get these books - you won't regret it.

Did I Mention I Miss You? Review
I am going to keep this review as spoiler free as possible because I don't want to ruin a thing! Did I Mention I Miss You? picks up almost exactly one year since Eden last spoke to Tyler and remains furious with him for his abrupt departure last summer. She has tried her best to move on with her life at college but as school ends for Summer she goes back home to Santa Monica and she's not the only one who decides to come home...

I am not sure where to begin with my love for DIMIMY! I read it cover to cover as soon as it arrived at my door and I am really sad that the trilogy is over but without a doubt I will be rereading all three books within a couple of weeks. I found DIMIMY to be so easy to get back into the story of Tyler and Eden without wasting any time - drama begins within just a few chapters and I just couldn't stop turning the pages, I had to know what happened next. I may have actually cancelled my plans just so I could read this book and I am so glad that I did.

Even though the books are based around Tyler and Eden, this third book isn't just about them - their family is falling apart from the aftermath and friendships are under strain. Old friends reappear which brought a smile to my face and one I wasn't expecting! And of course it would be a DIMILY book without of 4th of July would it? Tyler and Eden have grown so much up to this point, everyone has and it's exactly what I wanted. Before I started turning the pages I couldn't understand why Tyler left but once you find out you completely understand and it all makes sense..although some of it was a complete shock and I didn't see it coming at all!

I don't think I have ever liked the final book in a series until now but this look completely stole my heart and became my favourite. I am so happy with the ending to this trilogy, but of course I would have loved more, all of my questions were answered in the way that I wanted them to be and more. I have so many favourite scenes that I wish I could share but I am staying spoiler free! Ella (Tyler's mum) really surprised me in this book and she is the kind of mum I would hope for if I was ever in this situation. However Eden's dad on the other hand I would pass on...

Will Tyler and Eden be able to make it work? Will Eden forgive Tyler? You'll have to find out for yourself on 21st of July 2016...
