Lancome L'Absolu Rouge Lipsticks

Lip products are my weakness, I have a draw full but there is always room for more. I am a huge fan of the Juicy Shakers from Lancome, I use one every single day and I have almost finished one so I was really excited to try out these new lipsticks. These aren't the type of shades I would usually go for but I am so glad I received them as I have been wearing them so much already!

Swatched: Bouquet Final (Sheer) and Caprice (Cream)

These two lipsticks are from the new L'absolu Rouge range which includes 36 different shades in three different finishes, sheer, matte and cream. I like that they have included these three finishes as even though the matte lip trend is still going strong, cream lipsticks are a classic and I personally love sheer formulas. The packaging on these lipsticks is one of the best I have in my collection. They feel so luxurious with a great weight to them with a black and gold theme. To release the bullet, you click the top of the lipstick and it pops out of the bottom. I love this element and I could honestly sit and press it all day.

The cream formula lipstick in 132 Caprice is a stunning red lipstick. I usually hate red lipstick but there is something about this that I really like and for the first time, I have actually worn a red lip out of the house! This shade is very comfortable on the lips and extremely long wearing, I ate and drank while I was wearing this and it held up so well and didn't even need to be reapplied. The sheer lipstick in 367 Bouquet Final is a purple/pink shade and due to the sheer formula it is very comfortable on the lips and gives me the perfect amount of colour to be able to wear it during the day even though it is a slightly bolder lip against my pale skin tone.

Both of these lipsticks are hydrating on the lips which will be great for the winter months. With 36 shades there is bound to be one for you. I am definitely going to be wearing Caprice a lot during the holiday season. Both lipsticks were so easy to apply, the red did need a slight touch up without liner but a lip liner will definitely help fix that. Both shades are also very pigmented so you don't have to work to build up the colour.
