February 2017 Favourites

Month two of 2017 has been and gone and it has been a good month for makeup! This month I have so many new favourites from products I purchased last month or within the beginning of this month and I have been obsessed with them. If you are looking for some new beauty products, these are some of my must-haves that you need to have in your collection!

My first two favourites are eyeshadow palettes, the first is the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette. It is one heck of a gorgeous palette and I feel like this is one of those palettes that it is all you could ever need, especially if you love warm toned shadows. I had been thinking about buying this palette for the longest time and Chelsea basically told me I had no choice but to buy it, a 15% discount code made the purchase even easier to do! The metallic shades in this palette are no joke, they are incredibly pigmented! The matte shades are great too and I have been using this almost every day, I have reviewed this palette with swatches here. The other eyeshadow palette I have been loving is the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette, it not only smells delicious but has some really pretty shades! I have been using either on its own or with the Violet Voss palette. All of the shades in this palette are super soft and blendable. My favourite shades at the moment are Salted Caramel, Marzipan, Crème Brulee.

My next two favourites are inspired by Olivia Jade, she is so pretty and I have been loving her videos. One of the products she uses in almost every video is the Mario Badescu Rose Facial Spray and even though I don't like rose scented products this has quickly become a favourite of mine. I have been using this before makeup, after I have applied it and even on brushes to intensify products, e.g. highlighters. It is so hydrating on the skin and I love to use if I have applied a little too much powder to set my makeup. The other product is the Butter Bronzer from Physicians Formula. This smells of coconuts and it great for lighter skin tones to warm up the skin but never feels the skin looking orange, just the perfect tan shade.

Speaking of bronzers, the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette has been another favourite of mine and I have been loving all three shades, especially the bronzer. While it doesn't have any glitter or shimmer in the powders, they do add a glow and luminosity to the skin. I have reviewed and swatched this palette alongside one of the glosses from the collection here. Another glowy product I have been loving is the Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Ice Cold. I have been using the Mario Badescu Spray to dampen a brush to apply this and then go in with a fan brush to set it and the glow is literally out of this world. My Mum got me Princess Cut for my Birthday so I can't wait to play around with that shade as well.

I have been on a huge nude nail polish kick lately and I thought I would treat myself to my first Burberry product. I went for the shade Nude Pink and it is exactly that, a gorgeous light pink-toned nude shade. I have to say, I have been really impressed with this nail polish as it didn't chip for days on my nails and the colour was pretty opaque so it only needed two coats. My final favourite this month is the Too Faced x Skinny Dip Makeup Bag, if you managed to get this - how much do you love it?! It is such a cute makeup bag and it holds the perfect amount, I have been obsessed with it!

What were your favourites this month?
