Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara

Mascaras are one of my top three makeup products and I have so many favourites from the high street. This is a brand new product from Rimmel and is different than any other mascara I have seen on the market and if it actually works - it is a genius product!

This is the first to market patent-pending mascara that features a shaker system to refresh the mascara formula whenever it is needed. I find mascara dries up quicker than any other product so I only like to have one or two tubes open at a time and if this works, it could be a complete game changer and could save you some pennies too in the long run! It has some sort of shaker in the mascara which will refresh the product when you shake it so you never have to throw away a half used mascara again! I have only been using this mascara for a couple of weeks so I will update this post in a few months when any mascara would usually start to dry out to tell you whether or not this does work.

I do really like the packaging of this mascara and it has a pretty heavy weight to it which would be due to the shaking element of the product. Rimmel do love a shaking product at the moment, don't they? They also have the Shaking Brow Powders which I do really like! I believe this mascara is only available in Black or Extremely Black, I was quite surprised to see that they don't have a brown option just yet.

This is a volumising mascara with a clump-free formula from the first to last use - very high claims! The brush of this mascara is a decent medium size and is easy to use and coat the lashes without getting product on the skin. The brush itself is a standard bristle brush which helps give the lashes a tonne of volume while thickening the lashes but not as much length as I would like, if you have naturally long lashes I think you would like this. I love super long lashes so I do have to use this with another mascara to get my lashes how I like them to look.

This gives the lashes a very natural volumised look and I haven't noticed the product to transfer onto the skin around my eyes or flake off throughout the day so far. Even though it does claim to be clump free, I do find if I apply a little too much, it can look slightly clumpy on my lashes but once I go over it with a lengthening mascara it usually fixes itself! When it came to removing the mascara, I did find it to be a little bit difficult even with my cleanse and polish.

The Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara retails for £8.99 - HERE.
