When it comes to skincare, I love Vichy products and as soon as I heard about this product I knew I was going to love it. I am all about these types of products at the moment and no surprise, I am loving it! The Idealia range of Vichy is my favourite, the night cream is one of my all-time favourite skincare products and this product is from that range.
The Vichy Idéalia Peeling is an overnight product which you apply after cleansing the skin to revitalise and refresh to then be followed up with your usual moisturiser. This is going to help you wake up to glowing skin and has been designed for those with a fast-pace lifestyle as it will restore energy for new-born skin. What makes this different than many other overnight peeling products is that this has been adapted for sensitive skin. The key natural extracts in this product are:
- Blueberry Polyphenols to counteract the effects of oxidative stress.
- Kombucha Tea Extract to help restore skin quality.
- Hepes is an active ingredient that works as an exfoliating agent.
- Glycolic Acid to gently exfoliate the skin and improve the skin's softness, brightness and luminosity.
- Vichy Mineralising Thermal Water to help strengthen the skin's barrier function and help accelerate surface skin cell renewal.
The first thing I noticed when I started using it was the scent, it smells just like the night cream and has a light fruity scent to it. Each morning after I have used this I wake up to softer and brighter looking skin and it doesn't irritate my skin thanks to it being suitable for sensitive skin. This has a calming effect on my skin and I have also noticed it to help reduce my redness, especially around my rose where I suffer the most. I have a lot of discolouration and acne scarring and this has definitely helped reduce the marks on my skin which I am so happy about as this is one of the main things that I am unhappy about with my skin.
While I love the Pixi Glow Tonic, I do find it to be a little harsh on the skin every now and again and this product is very similar to that but the only difference it that this is for sensitive skin so anybody can use it. I always forget to use toners and face scrubs as part of my skincare routine which I why I love products like this as it is basically two-in-one!
