Cover FX The Perfect Light Highlighting Palette

I have never tried anything from Cover FX before and of course, the first thing I would try would be highlighters, I am still obsessed with highlighters far too much! This palette has really impressed me in the time that I have been using it and I think it was often been overlooked as I hadn't heard anything about it until a month or so ago!

The Cover FX The Perfect Light Highlighting Palette is available in two shade options, Light/Medium and Medium/Deep, I have the lighter version as I have a pretty pale complexion. This is a four piece highlighting quad that includes two cream highlighters and two powders. The palette itself is made of a sturdy cardboard, I have had it in my makeup bag and haven't had any issues with it. Inside the palette is a leaflet behind the mirror with directions if you are a beginner and not quite sure how to use the products.

The Light/Medium palette has a blushed champagne highlight in both a cream and powder formula as well as a warm bronze in both variants which are suitable for lighter skin tones. What I love about this palette is that you can achieve a gorgeous radiance by using the powders in the palette or for a stronger, bolder more intense highlight you can use the cream shades. I have never been a fan of cream highlighters too much but these are lovely. They are very easy to apply and blend but they don't feel greasy or oily on the skin.

Both of the powder shades in the palette look stunning on the skin and add a glow from within appearance to the cheekbones. They are very smoothing on the skin and don't highlight any texture if anything it helps disguise my texture! The powders are a little more long lasting than the creams as I expected but I love to touch up my highlight throughout the day to make sure my glow is still going strong so this wasn't an issue! The shade range of this palette is spot on as none of the shades are alike and each shade is actually wearable for my skin tone.
