Palmer's Coconut Oil Hair Care

My hair had been driving me mad as it has been looking so dull and dry and I couldn't work out why so it was time to try out some new products and these haven't disappointed! I have been a huge fan of the Palmer's body care products for years, and have been testing out their skincare range too which I am obsessed with. The hair care products met my expectations and more!Palmers Coconut Oil Hair Care

The Palmer's Coconut Formula range is free from sulphates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, dyes and gluten. It has been made with ethically and sustainably sourced Coconut Oil and Tahitian Monoï. The raw, natural ingredients are going to deeply hydrate, repair damage and give the hair insane shine. This range is specifically for Dry, Damaged or Colour Treated Hair which is my hair so I have really put these to the test! I have personally never liked hair care that is free from parabens and sulphates as they never seemed to lather up as much as I wanted or left my hair feeling drier but this range is a new favourite of mine.

The Coconut Oil Conditioning Shampoo and Coconut Oil Repairing Conditioner have been what I have been using every day for a few weeks now. The shampoo lathers up well and removes any build up with ease without stripping my hair or even making the roots of my hair feel heavy. This adds so much shine make into my hair and is very gentle while not leaving any residue in my roots. The conditioner is extremely nourishing on the hair and leaves it feeling softer than ever. I have found it so much easier to brush my hair after using this too. The smallest amount of the conditioner is all you need and I like to leave it on for a few minutes to lock in extra hydration.

I am obsessed with hair oils as I find them to make the biggest difference to the hydration of my hair but I am fussy as I don't want one that is going to weigh my hair down or leave it feeling greasy or sticky. The Coconut Oil Dry Oil Mist can be used on both damp hair before blow drying or on dry hair to tame frizz and boost shine throughout the day, I do prefer to use it on damp hair. This has a weightless combination of eight essential oils to add silkiness and re-hydrate the hair. I love that this is in a mist form as it is much quicker to apply and I do find it to make a big difference in my hair. I apply this to the mids to ends of my hair and it adds a tonne of hydration making into the areas which are my driest without making my hair feel heavy. It also leaves my hair looking glossy and so lightweight and who doesn't want that!

On days when I don't use the oil, I have been using the Coconut Oil Hair Milk Smoothie. This is a lightweight hair lotion that aims to deeply nourish the hair while hydrating, restoring softness for free-free definition and shine. Just like the oil, it can also be used on damp and dry hair but I do still prefer it on damp hair and I have been applying before blow-drying. This leaves my hair feeling soft, free from frizz and manageable, you only need the smallest amount too! This is great for days when my hair doesn't need too much hydration injected back into it, a perfect everyday product. I only use it on the mids to ends of my hair but it can be used from the scalp to ends of the hair when dry to smooth.

All of these products combined have kept my hair feeling soft and smooth but what I really like is that my hair feels thicker without being unmanageable. I have extremely long hair too which is already heavy so the fact that these products made my hair feel so much lighter is incredible! I also dye my hair regularly and these products have definitely helped prolong my colour and I haven't noticed it to fade at all since I started using them.
