Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow in Kitten Karma

This is one seriously hyped about product and I have to say now that I have tried one, I want every shade! These are unlike anything I have used before and I don't think I have ever been so impressed with any eyeshadow product. These are pricey, especially in the UK but if you want to treat yourself to some glitter, you can't go wrong with these!

The Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow are a liquid, glitter metallic eyeshadow currently available in eight gorgeous shades, I know that Sephora has three mermaid looking shades so hopefully, the UK stockists will get these soon. These have a water-infused blend of pearl and glitter that Stila has created to give the ultimate high impact glitter shadow without the weight, drying time or fall out.

To apply this to the eyes, I like to apply my crease shadows first, as usual, and make sure that they are well blended before going ahead and applying the liquid glitter shadow. I apply these directly to the lid with the applicator wand of the product as I find this works best. The applicator is a flat yet fluffy wand that makes the liquid shadow apply with easy. The applicator is a perfect size too as you can still get the product into the inner corner well without making a messy job of your eye look. I find it best to use a gel or cushion eyeliner with a brush if you want to apply winged liner after applying these as with a pen liner, I tried with the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, I just wasn't getting anywhere with it and the glitter was just transferring on the eyeliner tip rather than creating a wing.

I don't often use an eyeshadow primer, I am too lazy for that extra step, and on days that I don't, I don't find that I have a lot of glitter fall out throughout the day as long as I don't touch my eyes. But of course, primer won't hurt and it will definitely prolong the wear time. This product is really long lasting, I can wear them for around ten hours before I notice any different in my eye look. It is so very to remove, I like to use an oil-based cleanser. I was expecting it to crease throughout the day but I haven't had any issues with this at all! I do find that because it is a liquid product that it works so much better than a glitter eyeshadow powder as it clings to the lid rather than sitting on the surface and you don't get any fallout during application.

This is one of the prettiest makeup products I have ever used and if you like intense sparkle and glitter, you will fall in love with these! In the swatch, you can't tell at all how intense it is but on the eyes it is super sparkly and does have a glowy effect which I am obsessed with. If you don't like glitter, I would stay far away from these! One thing I really like about this product is how lightweight it is, I was expecting it to feel a little heavy on the eyes but I could hardly feel I was wearing it after it had dried.

Every time I have worn this, I always get compliments on my eye looks and am asked which product I used! This is the shade Kitten Karma which is a copper toned champagne with silver flecks, it reminds me so much of Colourpop Amaze but with the intensity turned up to 20! I have my eyes on a few more shades, Tati (Glam Life Guru) has worn Diamond Dust a few times and it always looks stunning on her so that is on the top of my beauty wishlist!
