I have wanted to try a ghd styler for the longest time now, I use heat styling tools on my hair daily and I can't believe I never got a one sooner! If you haven't tried any of the ghd electrical products before, now is the time to do so if you want a gorgeous limited edition product that will donate money to charity too.
Before, After & Styled.
What is a bit different about their campaign this year is that they have also joined forces with the Little Princess Trust to launch a nationwide campaign to encourage people to #ChopToYourChin for charity and my little sister did this not too long ago! If you are thinking about taking on the chop and have hair that is long enough to be about to donate at least seven inches, the Little Princess Trust will do the rest for you! When you donate your hair to the Little Princess Trust, your hair will be made into real hair wigs for children have lost their hair through cancer treatments and other illnesses. If you are thinking about doing this, you can head down to one of the nine participating salons.
As my sister chopped off over seven inches of hair, she needed to find a new hairstyle to do daily! You can see in the before picture just how long her hair was, it was pretty much unmanageable at that length so now that it has been cut - the opportunities are endless! We decided to create a high pony with soft curls which was so easy to create with the ghd Platinum Pink Blush Styler. All I did to create these waves and curls on her was clamp the styler an inch or two down from her roots and do a full turn with the styler. I liked to do a mixture of sized sections to make the curls look a little more natural. I made sure to the ghd Heat Protect Spray to ensure her hair doesn't get damaged.
Since I have been testing out the ghd styler, I have been really impressed with it and how my hair feels after each use. It doesn't feel dry or frazzled like it can do after heat styling and I found that the ghd Platinum Styler glides through my hair so much easier without any discomfort! The colour is absolutely stunning too and you also get a heat-resistant roll bag to keep the styler away safely.
From the sale of every ghd electrical product will make a donation of £10 to Breast Cancer Now to support breast cancer research and £2 from every paddle brush sale. Breast Cancer Now is the UK's largest breast cancer charity and their ambition is that by 2050 everyone who develops breast cancer will live. The charity is dedicated to funding research about breast cancer to help stop women dying from the heartbreaking disease.
