I love painting my nails in Autumn/Winter as I can use all of my favourite colours, the darker tones and vampy shades! This collection from Jessica includes a good mixture of the dark shades that I am obsessed with but they also included some slightly lighter shades which are perfect for those sunny Autumn days.
The Jessica Street Style Collection for Autumn 2017 consists of six shades straight from New York, Paris, London and Milian with their street styles that dominated the runways. This Jessica collection introduces her urban gallery of muted shades of grey and sophistication with pops of colour that you will need this season. All of the polishes in this collection are available in full and midi sizes, I like that they are offering this collection in smaller sizes as they are slightly cheaper so if you are on a budget you can still get your hands on these gorgeous shades. The shades included in this collection are:
- Luscious Leather: a smooth grey toned port wine.
- Very Vinyl: a charcoal grey infused with bursts of purple.
- Deliciously Distressed: a concrete jungle blue-grey.
- Fab Faux-Fur: a deep taupe with shades of grey.
- On the Fringe: a moody dark sage-grey.
- Haute Hoodie: a classic mauve with grey undertones
Like with any of my other Jessica nail polishes, I love the brush that these polishes have! It's slightly narrower which I love because I can be a little messy when I paint my nails and this helps make sure they I don't get any excess onto the surrounding skin, especially when I do my right hand. I find that each of these polishes only needs two coats, some only need one slightly thicker coat - perfect for when I am in a hurry. All of the polishes in this collection have a creme finish and they dry quicker than many of my other nail polishes from different brands. They are fairly long-lasting, they last much better with a good top coat, of course. These polishes are free from Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP. If I had to pick my favourite shades from the collection, they would have to be Very Vinyl and Deliciously Distressed as I have found myself wearing them the most.
