Spring Skincare Update

I have been really enjoying skincare products for the last couple of months and I can tell that my skin is loving it too! It has honestly never been quite this good and I think I have finally found the perfect combination of products for my skin. I’m excited to try out some new products in the coming months but for now, this is the skincare that I’m currently using.
Spring Skincare Update
For the morning, I keep it pretty simple as I’d rather have the extra time in bed, especially as I get up at 5 am during the week! To cleanse and refresh the skin I have been using the Soap and Glory Clarity Face Soap, this is actually my second bottle as I do really like it! This cleanses the skin well without stripping it of any moisture and does ever so slightly exfoliate the skin. It’s suitable for all skin styles and smells amazing!

After I have cleansed the skin I will spritz my face with the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic, I absolutely love this stuff! This is a refreshing toner that leaves the skin looking healthy, this also has a lovely scent! To moisturise the skin I have been obsessed with the Glossier Priming Moisturiser. This is a great light moisturiser that also works fantastically as a primer too. It leaves the skin looking fresh and ready to take on the day! The final step in my skincare routine for Spring is to apply SPF, I have been using the Glossier Invisible Shield and so far I do really like it! This is an SPF 30 and I love the fact that it’s actually clear so you don’t get a white cast like you can get with some SPF products.

To remove my makeup at the end of the day the only product I have used since Christmas is the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. This is a hot cloth cleanser that has to be one of the best makeup removers I have ever used! It can remove the heaviest of makeup without having to tug at the skin and it never irritates. I have been using this for almost ten years on and off now and I still love it as much as I did the first time I tried it. Once I have removed my makeup I like to do a second cleanse to ensure that all traces of makeup have been removed and to actually cleanse the skin. To do this I like the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser. This is such a gentle cleanser but it always leaves my skin feeling so soft afterwards!

Usually every other day I have been using Glossier Solution to keep my acne at bay and to help with scarring and discolouration. This one product is the main reason why my skin is the best it has ever been (you can check my review out here with before and after photos). After I have used Solution I like to use an oil rather than a cream based moisturiser as I find they work so much better to lock in hydration as my skin can get quite dry. Lately, I have been using the Pixi Rose Oil Blend as this not only hydrates but it also adds a healthy glow to the skin. To make sure my under eyes aren’t missing out on any hydration, I have been using the Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream. This isn’t too heavy on the skin but it keeps my under eye area hydrated and it doesn’t irritate my slightly sensitive skin.
