Whenever I wear makeup, I almost always like a matte finish. I have slightly oily acne prone skin so finding a product that mattifies the skin all day can be a little hard to come across. Erborian is a brand I have heard really great things about so I couldn't wait to try this out!
The Erborian Matte Crème can be used alone or as a makeup primer and it works fantastic both ways. This is a 5-in-1 product that helps even out skin tone and mattifies the skin. This product has multiple benefits and is a beauty hybrid. It is going to help blur the appearance of imperfections and pores with a soft-focus touch, it will also even out skin tone for an ultra-matte finish while refining the texture of the skin, maintaining the skin's barrier function to hold in moisture and mattify the skin to prepare for makeup.
I have tried so many products similar to this one but it is one of the best ones that I have tried. It has some of the best blurring properties that I have ever come across and it honestly makes my skin look flawless and super smooth. You can't see a single pore when I use this! I have been using it mostly as a makeup primer and I have tried it with a couple of my favourite foundations and I love the results each time, I love that it doesn't interfere with any of my base products. If anything my makeup applies smoother and more even and lasts so much longer throughout the day. It's extremely soft once applied to the skin and has a slightly powdery finish to it.
This is such a great product if you have some texture issues like I do and love a matte finish. It's available in two sizes, I have the smaller of the two available which retails for £16 and I think that's a great price for such a good product. A little goes a long way too so it doesn't run out too quickly.
