Summer Must Have Fragrances

I have been loving fragrances recently and I have been testing out quite a few and revisiting some old favourites to see if I could find some perfect scents for Summer. I have narrowed it down to four favourites that I have been alternating between that I love for this time of year. I thought I would also share some options for men too!

There are some really great men's fragrances available for Summer. The first is Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue. This has refreshing and sun-drenched top notes with a mix of spicy heart notes and an understated blend of base notes. One fragrance that's available in a perfect gift set for him and would be a great gift for Father's Day as well is the Clive Christian gift set. This is on the more expensive end of the price range but if you have the cash to treat yourself or to gift, this would be a great option. It includes three 30ml sized fragrances, each with stunning packaging.

One of the perfumes I have had in my collection for a while but that I had totally forgotten about is the Xo Victoria Perfume from Victoria's Secret. I really love the fragrances from Victoria's Secret and this one is a bright floral fragrance with fruity top notes that makes me fall in love with it. It isn't a super strong fragrance so it does need reapplying towards the early evening. Another floral fragrance I love for this time of year is Marc Jacobs Daisy Twinkle. Just like Xo Victoria, this also has some fruity top notes. This is a slightly younger floral fragrance and I love the top note of wild berries. This is a stronger fragrance and lasts all day once spritzed onto the skin.

Vera Wang Princess is a scent I wear all year round but I find myself using it so much more at this time of year. This has a mixture of water lily, apple, mandarin meringue, with amber and vanilla to name a few of the notes. I have always loved this fragrance and I know I will be repurchasing it in the future when I finish my current bottle! My final fragrance favourite is the Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct perfume. There is also a men's version of this fragrance but I have found myself wearing this one every day for the last week. This is a floral fruity fragrance with top notes of grapefruit, passionfruit and magnolia. Middle notes of orange blossom, butterfly orchid to mix in a reveal the floral scent. And it also has base notes of tonka bean and amber.

What are your favourite scents for this time of year?
