Tarte Maneater Mascara Review

I have been obsessed with this product for over a year now and I realized I hardly ever talk about it on the blog! I've mentioned it a couple of times but I have never done a full in-depth review so today, I'm going to share a review of one of the best mascara's I have ever used and one that I have now repurchased four times.

Tarte Maneater Mascara Review
I first discovered the Tarte Maneater Mascara when I purchased a QVC TSV last year and this was one of the products included. At the time, I wasn't that fussed about trying it as nobody really seems to talk about it (I have no idea why as it is incredible). From the first time I used it, I adored the product. Tarte has become one of my favourite brands because not only do they have incredible products, but they are a cruelty-free company with many of the products also being Vegan. All of the products from Tarte are formulated with parabens, mineral oil, phthalates and gluten to name a few.

The Tarte Maneater Mascara (£21) is said to be a lash styling mascara to give the lashes 23x more volume. It's going to lengthen your lashes while also curling and volumising. It has a soft-flex plastic brush that makes it so easy to apply the product from root to tip of the lashes as the bristles are on the short side. I like to do a zigzag motion when I apply it and start at the base and pulling up through the lashes. On the end of the brush is a section of fanned bristles that can be used on the inner and outer corners of the lashes.

When you apply the first coat, the lashes look separated and lengthened but it's in the second coat where the lashes turn into greatness. This mascara makes my lashes longer than any other mascara has done and it gives that false lash effect that I'm obsessed with. I'm not joking when I say that my lashes touch my brows! It curls the lashes too and my lashes never look clumpy. This mascara definitely gets even better the longer you have the tube open too. One of the big things that I love about this mascara is that it doesn't flake, transfer or smudge throughout the day so it's great for the lower lashes as well. I love the slightly fanned out effect it has on the lashes and it is intensely black so it makes the lashes look bold which I love. This really is an all-in-one mascara.

I have tried a couple of the Tarte mascara's and while I love them all, this one is hands down the best. If you love incredibly long lashes, you need this in your life. I always buy mine from QVC as you can get two full sizes for £26 which is a steal when just one directly from Tarte is £21!
