Finding good skincare products for my sensitive skin can be a bit of an issue sometimes. At the beginning of last year, I tried out the Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask from REN and I was obsessed with it so I was so excited to try out two other products from the range as well as being reunited with one of my favourite masks.
The Evercalm range from REN has been designed specifically for sensitive and sensitised skin and is going to be very soothing. There are multiple products in the range from cleansers to day creams so you could easily use this range exclusively. One thing I really love about REN is that they are a cruelty-free brand and have a few vegan products as well. All of the products contain no parabens, sulphates, detergent, mineral oil, fragrance and silicones amongst other things.
The first product I have been testing out is the Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk (£19). This is a gentle cleanser that I have been using as my second step cleanse in the evening and it has been developed to help fortify the skin against signs of premature ageing and will help remove the day's dirt and makeup while calming the skin. It's very nourishing on the skin and I love how comforted my skin feels after each use. I have a lot of redness around my chin and nose and I always find that this helps calm it even no other cleansing based product usually does. I have been really enjoying using this after I have spent the day in the sun as my skin tends to be a little dehydrated and I like that even though this cleanses the skin, it adds some extra moisture back into my skin.
The Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream (£32) is one of the vegan products from REN and this is a day cream that has been designed to repair the skin's natural barriers while calming, hydrating and soothing the skin. After cleansing in the morning I have been using this every day and I do really love it, it's quickly become one of my favourite daytime moisturisers. It sinks into the skin within seconds and its one of the few moisturisers that is deeply hydrating without feeling or looking greasy on the skin once you have applied it. It's very extremely calming on the skin and I love how it leaves my skin feeling moisturised all day long.
The final product from the range that I have been using is the Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask (£30). This is one of those products that I always like to have on hand because I trust that it will always save my skin when I need it most. You apply a generous amount to cleansed skin and leave on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing away with a damp cloth. I like to use this a couple of times a week and whenever my skin needs rescuing from dehydration. I usually leave it on for longer than the recommended time as I love the benefits and how lovely it feels on the skin while in use. This has been formulated to target signs of sensitive skin while de-stressing, comforting, moisturising and boosting the overall health of your skin. I honestly can't recommend this enough, especially if you have dry skin! If I ever have any extreme dry patches on my face, I will always use this and it instantly brings my skin back to life.
