I have been a huge fan of Tangle Teezer brushes for years now and this is actually the fourth one that I have purchased. My hair gets extremely tangled, mainly due to its length and Tangle Teezer brushes are some of the few that are able to brush through my hair without causing pain and damage. So when I saw that they had launched a brand new brush, I knew I had to buy it!
The Wet Detangler is the newest launch from the Tangle Teezer brand and retails for £11 a brush. It's available in four different colour options and I decided on the Serenity Blue option that is absolutely stunning. Its a pastel blue backed brush with bright white on the front where the teeth are located. I was really excited to see that Tangle Teezer had finally launched a brush specifically designed for brushing your hair when it's wet because it's the one thing I have been missing from Tangle Teezer. I've had The Pink Ultimate Brush and the Salon Elite and The Original brushes from the company and while I have used all three on wet hair, this one is by far my favourite brush from them now.
This brush has 325 unique teeth that will flex over tangles and knots with every single stroke to make sure that your hair is quickly detangled whilst helping reduce breakage. It's recommended for all hair types, including thick and curly hair and will help make brushing your hair an easy and painless experience. I'm so happy that this brush has a handle for starters as I can't tell you how many times my brushes have been catapulted across the room when they get stuck at a tangle! This brush is extremely lightweight and the design of it is very easy to hold as it has a unique shape to it so if you do use this in the shower you wouldn't have to worry about it slipping out of your hands.
Even though this brush has been designed to be used on hair wet, it works brilliantly on dry hair as well. I have actually been obsessed with brushing my hair since I got this and it makes it so quick and easy, I don't dread brushing it anymore! I have tried so many different brushes that have been designed to be used on wet hair and this is one of the best ones. It glides through any tangles and knots and I have definitely noticed that I have lost hardly any hair since I switched to this brush. I love that it doesn't pull at the hair or tug, I honestly can't recommend it enough.
One of the main issues I've personally had with Tangle Teezers is that I can't part my hair with them but as this is a similar shape to a paddle brush, I can easily do it with this brush so I don't have to use a separate brush anymore. I really love this brush on both wet and dry hair, when I use this on dry hair I have noticed that it looks much smoother! If you've been on the fence about trying a Tangle Teezer, you need to give this one a try!
