My Christmas Traditions

This is the last blog post from me until the 2nd of January and I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone that has read and commented on my blog posts this year as well as being supportive on social media. It is greatly appreciated and fingers crossed 2019 is a good year for my little old blog. Today I wanted to share a few of my favourite things I do at Christmas time and I would love to hear your Christmas traditions in the comments too.
If you follow me anywhere online, you'll know I start getting festive in September so I like to put the decorations up as early as acceptable. We put ours up in mid-November and I love it! This year we have four Christmas trees in our house and the front of our house, as well as the garden, are decorated with colourful lights and inflatables. I go all out with my decorations from bedding to trinkets and festive bedding. I have a slight addition to buying Christmas decorations as I own six Christmas trees and seem to buy a new one every year!

One of my absolute favourite Christmas traditions is driving around and looking at all of the Christmas lights. There's a house local to me that is absolutely crazy with decorations and puts our house to shame. I will upload some photos to my Instastories for you to see this craziness. There is something about Christmas lights that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Christmas Eve is my favourite day of the year, I actually get sad on Christmas Day because it's all over again for another year. Every Christmas Eve we usually have buffet style food (which is my favourite) and we watch Christmas movies, Hallmark Channel of course, and just have some family time. Even though I'm 24 years old, I still have the Google Track Santa running on my computer all day long and everybody always gets new pyjamas. Every year since I can remember I have had new pyjamas on Christmas Eve and this year, everybody has matching which I think it ridiculous but I love it.

While Christmas Day makes me sad, Boxing Day makes me annoyed usually because I personally have never really enjoyed it being such a big Christmas fan. But this year we are going to be heading to the sales in the morning and I'm actually looking forward to it!

What are your favourite things about Christmas?
