Candy Coat is a brand I have wanted to try out for the longest time and I was sent a few nail polishes to try out at the beginning of the month and I haven't been disappointed! I've been really enjoying painting my nails again in the last couple of months and these polishes have been put to good use.
Candy Coat offers a few different products including gel polishes and standard polishes as well as a few lip products and nail tools. They also have a really cool subscription box that's available in two different options, one gel polish (£15 a month) and one nail polish subscription box (£10 a month). I have three nail polishes to talk about today and if you like pastel shades, you will fall in love with these.
They have a massive shade range online with so many different colour variations to choose from and all of their products are cruelty-free. All three of the polishes that I have been testing out are a 10ml size and I love the packaging. Each of the bottles has a slightly longer cap that makes it easier to hold when applying your polish. They all have a colour preview on the top of the bottle which is so handy when you are trying to find which shade you want to paint your nails next. The three shades I have are:
- 001: a light lemon drop shade
- 474: a pastel pink with a light lilac tint
- 435: a creamy pastel teal
With pastel polishes, they can be a little streaky and need an extra coat to achieve full coverage but that isn't the case with these polishes! I was expecting to have to apply three or four coats of each but I only needed two so I was already impressed! All three of the shades have a glossy finish and they are all fairly quick drying too. They apply smoothly to the nails and the brushes are a great size so I didn't have to worry about getting excess polish on my skin or cuticles. These are perfect shades for Spring so I know I will use them a tonne when the warmer weather starts to appear but I have been loving 474 at the moment. I love a pink polish and this looks gorgeous on the nails.
The Candy Coat nail polishes retail for £6 each and if you do want to try a few shades, they have a buy five colours get one free offer. You can buy yours and find out more - HERE.
