Documentaries You Need to Watch

The only resolution that I set myself every year now is to learn more. Whether it's about a specific religion, politics or fashion, I just want to learn something new. I find that watching documentaries is one of the best ways to actually absorb information and these are some of my favourite documentaries that I have watched recently.
Documentaries You Need to Watch
Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened

I think everybody knows about Fyre Festival now and if you haven't watched this one yet, I highly recommend it. I was in shock for almost the entire thing, I can't believe what was going on behind the scenes. It's also quite interesting as a blogger to watch the methods that they were using to promote the festival and finding out how much Kendall Jenner was paid for an Instagram post that she didn't declare it as an AD either.

7 Days Out

This is a documentary series that follows a few different big events in the seven days before. I binged this series and I hope they do more episodes. I loved the one on NASA and the Chanel Haute Couture Fashion Show. The NASA one was so interesting as I had pretty much no knowledge of space if I'm being completely honest.

Chasing Coral

I watched this documentary at the beginning of last year and it has really stuck with me. This follows a group of divers, scientists and photographers from around the world going underwater to document the disappearance of coral reefs. This made me so sad but I'm glad I watched it because it's made me change in regards to plastic.

Diana: 7 Days That Shocked the World

I love the royal family and I was only 3 or 4 when Diana died so I never really knew anything about it. I have watched a few different documentaries about the royal family, especially about Diana. I really don't like Camilla (at all) but this one did make me like Prince Phillip a lot.

House of Z

Considering how unfashionable I am, I have a real obsession with fashion documentaries. I have watched a few different ones recently and House of Z was gripping. I love Zac Posen's style and the way he designs is unlike anything I had seen before. His dresses are works of art.

All of these documentaries are available to watch on Netflix.
