Milk Makeup KUSH Mascara Review

When Milk Makeup finally launched in the UK, I knew I had to order a few things and I have fallen in love with every product I have tried so far. When I ordered, if you spent £40 you got three samples to try and this mascara was one of them. I have become obsessed with it and knew I was going to pick one up on payday but the lovely Lily at Pint Sized Beauty was one step ahead and got me a tube for my birthday!

The Milk Makeup KUSH High Volume Mascara is 100% Vegan and cruelty-free and will condition the lashes while adding a tonne of volume. I adore this mascara and I look forward to applying it every morning. Even on days when I wouldn't wear makeup, I find myself applying this as I love how nice it makes my lashes look. This mascara aims to add high volume to the lashes while thickening, adding length for long-lasting volume and curl.

It's the first mascara that contains hemp-derived cannabis oil that is said to have so many benefits for the lashes. It gives the mascara a creamy texture that allows for a smoother application and makes it easier and tug-free when it comes to removing at the end of the day. It really is one of the easiest mascaras to remove that I have tried. It will also condition the lashes and is said to be the vegan way to add major volume and have your lashes looking healthier. I would have to say that my lashes do seem to be in a better condition and look much healthier since I started using this and I haven't used anything else on my lashes so it has to be down to this product! Milk used this ingredient in place of beeswax which is used in so many mascaras.

I loved the brush of this product from the first coat but I wasn't expecting that as I usually love plastic wands. It has a puffy, slightly tapered brush that features criss-cross bristles to coat and lift every single lash from root to tip for a defined, clump-free effect. The brush is fantastic for upping the intensity and applying multiple coats as it doesn't leave the lashes clumpy or adding globs of product.

This is such a volumising mascara and does so many incredible things for my lashes as well. I love to apply a few coats of this to make my lashes a little more intense but on natural makeup days, one coat is more than enough. Within the formula are hollow heart-shaped fibres that lock onto the lashes in each direction to add width and length. It ticks every box for me, I wasn't expecting to be lengthening as it is but it makes my lashes insanely long and thick too. I have ever used a mascara that adds a curl and that holds it until I remove my makeup quite like this one. Besides how great this mascara makes my lashes look, I love how it wears throughout the day. It doesn't budge, smudge, or transfer throughout the day and that's usually one of the main problems I have with mascaras.

I will definitely be repurchasing this one! The Milk Makeup KUSH Mascara retails for £20.50 at Cult Beauty - HERE
