Erborian Magic Transformask Review

I'm obsessed with face masks and this brand new one from Erborian is unlike anything I have tried before and I can't get enough of it. If you have combination to oily skin and have been looking for a new face mask to try out, I can't recommend this enough. This has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine.

The Erborian Magic Transformask (£34) has the most unique texture I have ever come across in a face mask but it works so well for my skin that I can't get enough of it. This face mask has a dual-transformation texture and combines the benefits of a cleanser and a skin perfecting mask in one product. It has been formulated with a blend of powder ingredients such as Tiger Grass, Japanese knotweed, green tea and licorice. This is a really fun mask to use as it actually has some shimmer in it but it's also really effective. For best results, Erborian recommends that you use this face mask twice a week. 

As you apply this mask onto the skin, it's a subtle pink shimmer tinted gel that will trap dust and other impurities that have built up on the skin throughout the day. It almost feels dry as you apply it to the skin but it isn't actually drying on the skin in the slightest. You leave it on for ten minutes and it turns into a skincare powder that will help to visibly refine pores. When it's time to rinse off and it interacts with water, the powder transforms into a milky film that leaves a lingering sheen on the skin to give you a pearly glow.  

This mask not only provides long-lasting benefits but instant ones as well. While the skin is left with a glow immediately after use, it leaves the skin mattified which I love, especially when I'm having an oily skin day. It makes my skin and pores look so much clearer and I love how smooth and soft it makes my skin after use. It's also helped massively with any spots that I had and my skin has been almost completely clear since I introduced this into my skincare routine. After each time I use this mask, my skin feels as if I have had a deep cleanse and I can't get enough of it. Because of the instant benefits this gives the skin and the mattifying effect, I love to use this mask in the morning to take advantage of how my skin looks and feels! I always seem to have better makeup and skin days when I use it.
