Mother's Day Gift Ideas with Fragrance Direct

Mother's Day is coming up at the end of the month so I thought I would share a couple of my beauty top gifts. My mum loves beauty and trying out new products so I always like to get her a couple of new things for Mother's Day. Fragrance Direct has always been one of my favourite places to shop and a couple of these products are on their site at a massive discount too!

Fragrance is something I always like to gift as it isn't something that a lot of people will treat themselves to. Marc Jacobs perfumes are some of the best on the market and they all smell divine. Daisy Dream is a variation of the original Daisy fragrance that launched in 2007 has some gorgeous fruity notes. It's a light, fruity floral fragrance in stunning packaging and I've had a couple of the Daisy fragrances now and this one has to be my favourite. The bottle is a gorgeous shade of pale blue with white Daisy detailing and gold accents. Daisy Dream has top notes of blackberry, pear and grapefruit, heart notes of jasmine, lychee and blue wisteria with a base of white wood, coconut water and musk. This perfume is available in three different sizes.

Another beauty product I love to gift is makeup brushes. You can never have enough of them and Real Techniques has some great sets available and they're all so soft. The Rebel Edge Trio (£16.99) comes with three unique makeup brushes with gorgeous pink handles. I have never seen makeup brushes like this before as they have cropped heads to put you in control to define and blend powders. The largest brush is for applying products to the face such as bronzers, and foundations, the medium size brush is perfect for applying blush to the cheeks and I don't think I would be able to use any other brush now! The smallest brush is perfect to apply shadows to the lower lash line and for precision.

My mum is obsessed with doing her nails so nail polishes are always a great gift for her. You could even gift some polishes with a voucher to go for a manicure too. The OPI Infinite Shine Nail Polishes are only £3.25 each at Fragrance Direct with a saving of £10.25 per polish! I can't get over that saving, you can buy so many polishes for the price of one at the full retail price. I picked out two shades that are perfect for Springtime in Don't Bossa Nova Me Around (a creamy nude) and It's a Boy (a bright pale blue). These polishes wear like gel polish with stunning shine but remove like a normal nail polish would.

My final pick is the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks. Just like the OPI polishes, these are at a big discount at Fragrance Direct. These retail for £17 each but they are only £6.99 on the site with over 30 shades available. I picked out the shade Patina and this is one of my favourite formulas of liquid lipstick, I'm very fussy with liquid lipsticks. It's very comfortable and creamy on the lips with full coverage and is extremely long-wearing. It doesn't look dry on the lips and I'll definitely be ordering a few more shades soon.
