I have been trying to use up a lot of my makeup products recently as I don't want them just sitting in a drawer expiring. And so in doing that, I have been rediscovering products I used to love. These four products create the most flawless base I have had in a while and I can't get enough. I wish I had tried them together soon as they work so well together.
I have been using a few new skincare products recently that have been working wonderfully for my skin and for the most part, my acne is nearly gone. I don't have as much redness or texture issues as I have done in the past but I still like my base to have higher coverage. These four products in combination create my perfect, high coverage, smooth and long-lasting base.
The Milk Makeup Blur Stick has quickly become an essential in my daily routine, even when I don't wear makeup! I can't get enough of it, I love that it mattifies the skin and how it smooths over pores and makes them disappear. It works wonders on my new fine lines (oh the joys of getting older) and I can't recommend it enough. This is on the pricey side at around £30 but I have been using it every day for a while now and I have barely used anything up! I apply it directly to the skin from the stick and smooth over it with my fingers if needed before applying foundation.
I have quite a few foundations in my collection and I had completely forgotten about the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Foundation. I adore this product and I can't believe I ever forgot about it! It works so well with my skin to be long-lasting and provide me with the perfect coverage without ever looking heavy on the skin. To conceal under the eyes, my perfect match is with the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer. I love this concealer as much as I love my Shape Tape and that's saying something! You only need the tiniest amount of this as it does such a long way while providing incredible coverage. I don't find this to be heavy on the skin or to crease throughout the day if I use a good setting powder.
Speaking of setting powder! I never thought setting powders made a massive difference, no matter how much I spent but there are a few that are, phenomenal. The RCMA No Color Powder is insanely good. I can't get over how much of a difference this product makes to my makeup! It leaves my skin looking smooth and even but it never looks powdery, no matter how much I apply. It works brilliantly under the eyes as well as on the rest of the face and I can't get enough of it. It's hard to describe in words how much of a difference this makes but trust me, you need this in your makeup bag.
