Five Skincare Recommendations

For the last six months or so, I have been obsessed with skincare. I have been getting more excited about trying out new skincare products than I have with makeup and this has never happened before. I thought I would share five products I am obsessed with at the moment and that I can't stop recommending.
I tried out Ole Henriksen products for the first time years ago and now that they have relaunched in Boots, I knew I had to pick up a few things. One of the products I picked up was the Invigorating Night Gel. I have been using this for almost a month now and I love the results that I'm starting to see. It helps to resurface the texture of your skin while also evening skin tone. It contains AHAs and my skin has been looking great since I introduced this, it has been much more even and over time my skin is looking better and better. I really want to try a few other products from the Transform line now.

When it comes to removing makeup, I have been using two products. The first is the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm which I'm sure you've heard about a hundred times already but I'm obsessed with it. If I want a product to quickly remove all traces of makeup, this is always what I grab. It's gentle on the skin but extremely effective. I have gone through two jars of this now and I'll be buying a third soon. The other is the Glossier Milky Oil which is the latest launch from the brand, you can read my full review here. It's an eye makeup remover that's been designed to remove long-wearing makeup. This removes my mascara with ease and even though it is oil based, it doesn't leave the skin feeling oily.

In the last month or so, I have been trying to do a lot more self-care and I love a face mask. My favourite one at the moment is the Erborian Transformask, you can check out my full review here. This is unlike anything I have used before as it has a dry like texture, it almost feels like a pore filling primer when you apply it. If you have oily or combination skin, you'll love this product! It leaves the skin mattified, soft and smooth but it also helps banish spots and breakouts.

My final skincare recommendation is the Pixi Jasmine Oil Blend. I have tried a few different oils in the past and this is one of my all-time favourites. It's super hydrating on the skin but it's also very soothing for when my skin is stressed. It also worked brilliantly at clearing my acne which I wasn't expecting. If you're looking for an oil that will calm and comfort the skin, definitely give this a try!
