I love a face mask and I have tried a few products from the L'Occitane Aqua Reotier range and loved them so I was excited to try out this new product. I don't usually go for hydrating masks, I'm usually all about the blemish preventing masks but I am fully converted to this product! I think it might be my new favourite face mask!
The L'Occitane Réotier Mineral Moisture Mask (£32 for 75ml) is an ultra-mineral hydrating face mask that will instantly quench the skin. It has been made with mineral-rich Reotier water, hyaluronic acid, which my skin loves, as well as water-binding molecules, to quench the skin whenever it needs it most. It's suitable for all skin types and can be used as a shot of hydration for ten minutes or you can use it overnight for a more intense treatment.
The mask itself has an almost frosty effect to it and has a gel-like texture. Not only will it help hydrate the skin but it will also help to minimise the appearance of pores and leave the skin with a healthy glow thanks to the rehydration benefits. I have been using this for a few weeks now, both for 10-30 minutes on the skin and as an overnight treatment and I do think it works better the longer you leave it on the skin. When you remove the mask used as a shot of moisture, it's recommended that you use a cotton pad and when used as an overnight treatment you can wash it off and start your daily routine.
I love the effects this mask as on my skin, I love how soft and pump my skin is after each use. I haven't used many products that make my skin look and feel pump but this mask is fantastic! I always leave this on the skin for as long as possible and overnight once a week and my skin has been incredibly hydrated and super smooth. This mask is fragranced so that's something to keep in mind if fragrances irritate your skin, I haven't had any issues with it though. My skin always looks really healthy and fresh after use which is perfect for no makeup days.
