When Ole Henriksen was available in the UK years ago, I had tried a few products and was obsessed with them. So when they relaunched in the UK at Boots, I knew I wanted to splurge. I decided to get the 3 Little Wonders as it was such a good deal and now I want all the Ole Henriksen products in my skincare routine.
The Ole Henriksen 3 Little Wonders Set is available in two variations, a full-size set and a mini/travel size. There is one product different between the two sets but if you weren't sure if you were going to like Ole Henriksen, the travel size set is the place to start. The main reason I went ahead and invested in this one was because I knew I already liked one of the products included and I was going to purchase it on its own anyway. But the set made much more sense as it was better value for money. And luckily, I adore all three of the products! I have been using these products for a couple of months now and I can't get enough of the results that I'm seeing.
The three products in this set are the Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturiser, Invigorating Night Transformation Gel and the Truth Serum. You are to use the Sheer Transformation morning and night, the Truth Serum in your morning skincare routine and the Invigorating Night Transformation Gel in your evening routine. This set retails for £58 at Boots (they often have 15% off making it just under £50) and if you were to buy the products individually it would be around £100.
The Truth Serum was the one product I knew I was already a fan of and it has been great to have it back in my skincare routine. This serum is a daily multivitamin for the skin. It's packed with vitamin C and collagen to provide all-day hydration while brightening, fighting signs of ageing and firming the skin. Having had acne prone skin for the last ten years or so, my skin is very dull and this product has been working wonders for my skin! It smells absolutely incredible and has enhanced my skin to make it much brighter and with a slight radiance to it. It sinks into the skin almost instantly and doesn't leave you feeling greasy. Even though this was the product I was most excited to have in my skincare routine, I don't think I'll repurchase it as I love the other serum in the set so much more.
The Invigorating Transformation Night Gel has completely transformed my skin and I will definitely be repurchasing this product. This is a multitasking overnight resurfacing product that will help to smoothe the skin's texture and even skin tone. It's packed with AHA's, including glycolic and lactic acids as well as microalgae. It's very lightweight on the skin and just like the Truth Serum, it sinks in extremely fast. As I mentioned, I have acne prone skin and while it's completely under control at the moment thanks to a good skincare routine and cutting out certain foods, I still have a lot of discolouration, uneven skin tone and markings. This product is making a difference to my skin every single day and it's making me want to try out more products from the Transformation line. Every morning my skin looks fresh, smoother and more even. Many of the markings and discolouration patches have started to fade and I can't wait to see how this will work for my skin with continued use.
The Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer has been working well for my skin in my morning and evening skincare routines. It's weightless once applied, works well under makeup but it also keeps my skin well hydrated at all times. It will also help to gently refine uneven skin tone and texture and has been formulated with multi-fruit acids, liquorice and pea tracts as well as antioxidants. I do think that this does more than just keep the skin hydrated and it works well with both serums.
