Swatched (left to right): I Feel Flower-ful, Strike a Posie, Young, Wild & Free-sia, Merci Bouquet, Gardenia My Heart and Follow the Petals

This collection will have your nails ready for spring in no time. The Colour of Petals collection has been inspired by soft and subtle colours from much-loved favourite flowers. These shades will be the perfect finishing touch to any colourful look. I love that even though this is a more muted collection, each of the shades is different from the others if you needed any justification for ordering them all! In the bottle, they do look quite similar but that isn't at all the reality in swatches or on the nails. The colours in this collection are:

- Merci Bouquet: Lilac creme
- Gardenia My Heart: Dusty rose creme
- I Feel Flower-ful: Light nude creme
- Young, Wild & Free-sia: Soft peach creme
- Follow The Petals: pink pearl
- Strike A Posie: Blush pink creme

One of my favourite things about this collection is that the polishes have different undertones, a few are cooler toned and others warm. While most of the shades all have a creamy finish, Follow The Petals has a gorgeous sparkle to it. All of the polishes only needed two coats to achieve full-colour pay off which I really wasn't expecting as with many lighter polishes you need an extra coat to avoid any streakiness.

My favourite two shades would have to be Strike a Posie and Follow The Petals. I love blush pink nail polishes, how every millennial of me, and Strike a Posie is perfection in a polish. I found the polishes to be fairly long-lasting on my nails, a few of my nails didn't even chip at all until I removed them almost a week later.

The Morgan Taylor The Colour of Petals polishes retail for £10.99 each and are available at Sally Beauty.
