Transitioning My Makeup for Autumn with Fragrance Direct

- This post is sponsored by Fragrance Direct -

Tomorrow is the official start of Autumn and I couldn't be any more excited! I love the autumn and winter months and that is usually when I have the most fun with my makeup too. I love warm-toned eyeshadows, berry lips and vampy nails so I thought I would share a few of the products I have added to my collection to transition into autumn!

Fragrance Direct have so many new brands stocked on the site and one of them is Morphe. I have never actually tried Morphe palettes before but I know a few friends swear by the palettes. The Hot Spot 35H Palette is a great palette for those who like to experiment with their eye looks. This has all of the warm tones that I love but it also has a few pops of colour in included with the blues. You can create so many different looks with this palette and I love that there is a good mixture of mattes and shimmer shades.

Huda Beauty is another brand that I haven't tried too much from, apart from a highlighting palette, so when I saw they had a three of the lip contour sets I couldn't wait to pick out the perfect one for autumn. I love darker lip colours in the colder months and the Lip Contour Set in Vixen is all I have been wearing recently! Included in the set are two mini liquid lipsticks, in shades Vixen and Famous, and a full-size lip pencil in the shade vixen. I really like this formulation of liquid lipstick as it's lightweight and comfortable. While I like a bold lip, if you want to wear darker lip shades but don't like the boldness of them, you can apply a tiny amount to the centre of your lips and blend it with your finger so it's less intense.

During the cooler months, I like my base products to be full coverage whereas in the summer I like less coverage and a slightly more natural makeup look. I had never tried the BareMinerals Matte Foundation before and I have been so impressed with it! It has the level of coverage I was after but it doesn't look powdery or heavy on the skin. It's long-lasting and Fragrance Direct has a good selection of products from the brand at amazing prices. This foundation retails for £28 but they have it for £16.99! I have been applying it with the Real Techniques Brush Crush Vol.2 Foundation Brush and they work brilliantly together. This brush is comfortable to hold and buffs the product into the skin flawlessly.

No Fragrance Direct order is complete without a few Essie nail polishes! These polishes retail for £7.99 but Fragrance Direct has over 100 shades in stock at just £2.65 a polish! Berry nails are always an autumn staple and New Year New Hue is slightly different than all of the other berry polishes I have in my collection. Nude nails are a great way to transition between seasons and Sorrento Yourself is a slightly darker nude that I can't get enough of.

What's your favourite product to switch up for autumn?
