''Fearless, frank and for anyone who’s ever doubted themselves, So Lucky is the straight-talking new novel from the Sunday Times bestseller.

IS ANYONE’S LIFE . . .
Beth shows that women really can have it all.
Ruby lives life by her own rules.
And then there’s Lauren, living the dream.

AS PERFECT AS IT LOOKS?
Beth hasn’t had sex in a year.
Ruby feels like she’s failing.
Lauren’s happiness is fake news.

And it just takes one shocking event to make the truth come tumbling out…
The bold and brilliant new novel from Dawn O’Porter, the bestselling author of The Cows.''

My Review

This book was completely not what I was expecting in the best way. This was such a realistic book in that you actually read about characters with real-life insecurities and life situations. I found myself preferring to read the Beth chapters but I really liked how all of the characters came together towards the end of the book.

Lauren’s role in the book was one of the most important parts of this book. It showcases how you never know what’s happening behind that perfect, happy filtered Instagram post.

I really liked the writing style, it was easy to read and follow and I flew through the book. While it did have some funny moments, it was much darker than I was expecting it to be. Mental health is a huge part of this book and I liked how it was written. This book normalised a lot of topics which I think is really important.
