I am officially off work until the New Year and I will be doing my favourite thing, absolutely nothing. Netflix is always a must when I'm off work and I thought I would recommend some of my favourite shows and movies I have watched recently so you can join me in doing nothing.
The Crown
I am obsessed with the royals and I don't know why I didn't watch this sooner! Me and my mum binged through the first two seasons and we will be starting season 3 this week - I can't wait! I learnt so much from this show and it made me like The Queen more than I thought was possible and made me dislike Philip a little more than I already did.
Merry Happy Whatever
Christmas movies are one of my favourite things to watch so when I heard Netflix was doing a Christmas themed TV show, I couldn't wait! I watched this when it was released on Thanksgiving and I loved it. Ashley Tisdale is one of the main cast members in this and I love that she's back on my screen.
Dolly Parton's Heartstrings
I am obsessed with Dolly and if you dislike her, you are just plain weird and wrong. This is an anthology series and each episode is based on one of Dolly's songs. My favourite episode so far has been Jolene. Dolly is in every episode too which makes me so happy.
Nailed It! Holiday Season 2
This is one of my favourite shows, ever. Nicole is absolutely hilarious and is the star of the show! This follows average bakers trying to make insane baked goods and failing. All of the episodes are holiday-themed but they do have a normal version of the show too.
Iliza Shlesinger: Unveiled
I love watching stand up specials on Netflix and this is one of my favourites from 2019. I love Iliza and this special is another good one, she has quite a few on Netflix if you have never watched her before! I love that this special has a meaning to it.
