Must Have Products For a Full Coverage Base

- this post includes some previously gifted items -

I have always prefered a full coverage base but I never liked looking like I was covered in makeup. But I have found a set of products that work brilliantly together to give me full coverage without looking heavy and that lasts all day long so I had to share!
Must Have Products For a Full Coverage Base
While my skin is doing good at the moment (I don't have any acne breakouts), I do have a lot of discolouration and redness that I don't like. My two favourite foundations are the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Foundation and the Tarte Foundcealer. The Fenty foundation is a little too matte for me and the Tarte foundation alone doesn't have full coverage whereas the Fenty one does. So I decided to mix them together recently and it is a match made in heaven!

They work perfectly together, the Tarte foundation gives my complexion a little more of a natural look but the Fenty foundation makes sure that it lasts all day and night long while providing that high coverage that I love. I use the Real Techniques Sponge to blend and apply these to the skin and I love the way it looks, using a sponge will give you great coverage without making it look heavy.

The best concealer I have ever used is the Tarte Shape Tape, believe the hype with this one. I have gone through so many of these and I will never be without it. I use this mainly under the eyes as I don't need to spot conceal when I use the foundation combo but it's great for spots too. This has great coverage and I usually go a shade lighter so it's brightening under the eyes.

To set my base, I have been loving the Coty Airspun Loose Powder (review here). It transforms my makeup and I love the way it looks on the skin. It's great under the eyes as well as all over the face. When I use this, I rarely have to touch up my makeup throughout the day.

What are your favourite base products?
