I have been on a Kendall Ryan binge lately and have read five of her books in the last two weeks. I have been a fan of her for a couple of years now but I hadn't read anything since Junk Mail released and I am obsessed again.
Kendall Ryan is a romance author and her books are only a few quid on Kindle so I couldn't resist jumping into her new series, Hot Jocks. This is a companion book series about pro-hockey players have I have read three of the book in the series so far as well as the new novelette that came out yesterday. I also read one of her backlist titles and I'm sure I will be reading a few more book soon.
The first book I read in the Hot Jocks series was Playing for Keeps which is book one but you can read these in any order, I've skipped one and read others out of order and have had no issues as these are technically standalones. This one follows Elise and Justin, Elise is the younger sister of Owen who is Justin's friend and roommate. I love this type of romance so it's no surprise I liked this one. It definitely got me interested to read more books in the series.
Next up I read Crossing the Line which is the fourth book in Hot Jocks and it follows Bailey and Asher with Bailey helping Asher recover from an injury and going to stay at his family's house for a week as his nurse. I really liked this one but I did read a book with a similar plot, if you read a Favor for a Favor by Helena Hunting, you'll probably like this! My favourite book from this series so far as All the Way that follows Owen and Becca and I will give a trigger warning that this discusses sexual assault and the aftermath. I gave this one five stars, I loved it and thought it was well done. This is a friends to lovers type of romance which I am really starting to like after disliking for so long!
The House Mate is the backlist title I read which came out in 2017. This is a single dad/nanny kind of romance which I weirdly love and it was decent. It was a three-star read so I would have liked more from it but I would still read it again! The final Kendall Ryan book I read was the latest release, The Bedroom Experiment. This was a super quick read, it only took me about half-hour. I did really like this one! It's a step-sibling romance which sounds weird but it's absolutely not as they didn't grow up together.
Have you read Kendall Ryan?
