It was my birthday last month and I decided to treat myself to a couple of new beauty products. I love Fenty Beauty and on a whim, I decided to pick up a foundation that I hadn't tried. I love the matte foundation so I had high hopes for it.
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Hydrating Foundation Review
The Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Hydrating Foundation is available in the same shade 50 shades as the original Pro Filt'r foundation so I went with 130 and it's a great match for my skin tone. This foundation is the first for Fenty Beauty with a medium to full coverage that's long-wearing and hydrating. It has a natural, smooth finish that allows the skin to look like your skin has had a drink of natural and not dewy.

It has been designed for normal to dry skin types and has been formulated with grape seed oil and sodium hyaluronate to give the skin further hydrating and keep the skin feeling comfortable all day. This foundation comes in a squeezable tube with a pump making it great for travelling with. I really like the packaging of this foundation and I think I prefer it over the original foundation.

I love medium coverage which is what excited me about this foundation as you can use one pump for medium coverage and one 1-2 pumps for full coverage. I find a pump and a half to be the perfect amount for the coverage I am looking for but if I use any more than that, it doesn't look great on my skin if I'm being honest. It looks natural on the skin, like your own skin but enhanced and any discolouration and spots concealed. I apply the foundation with a damp beauty sponge and its easy to apply and blend and doesn't ever look patchy.

It's an extremely comfortable foundation to wear as well as being lightweight and that's one of my favourite things about it. I have been setting it with a loose powder and it looks flawless. It's a great everyday foundation. It isn't as long-wearing as I thought it would be but it is more long-wearing than any of my other hydrating foundations. It only needs a couple of touch-ups throughout the day on any oily areas. This is a great foundation, especially for this time of year when my skin is slightly drier than usual!

Fenty Beauty is a cruelty-free brand.
