Must Have Summer Romance Reads

Summer is the perfect time to read a little romance and I thought I would share seven books that I absolutely loved. Most of them have very summery vibes so they will make you feel like you are on vacation even though most of us can't actually leave our houses currently.
Must Have Summer Romance Reads
1. Summer Fling Anthology

You can actually get this one for free through this link! This book includes a few summers themed short stories from a bunch of different authors but my favourites are from Helena Hunting and R.S Grey who are two of my favourite authors. Helena's short story was a really fun kind of road trip romance and R.S Grey's was a full-on holiday romance with a couple who we already met from Doctor Dearest, one of her recent releases.

2. That Second Chance - Meghan Quinn

This is one of my favourite romances, ever. I love Meghan's writing and I have read this book three times in eight months. This is the first book in the Getting Lucky series that is set in the small town of Port Snow. Ren is new to town and as she is driving into town, she gets into an accident and ends up meeting Griffin who is a local firefighter.

3. Meet Me at Midnight - Jessica Pennington

This is my YA romance pick and it is the perfect summer read! This book follows Sidney and Asher who end their summers in neighbouring houses at the lake. This book involved a cute love story and some fun pranks! I posted a full spoiler-free review of this book here

4. Beach Read - Emily Henry

I am so glad I got to read this early and be apart of the blog tour because it blew me away! This book is getting a tonne of hype for a good reason, it is brilliant! Beach Read follows Augustus and January who are both writers and end up living next door to each other and as they both have writers block, they decide to switch genres. You can read my full spoiler-free review of this book here. (The Kindle edition is only 99p until the end of the month).

5. Island Affair - Priscilla Oliveras

When I spotted the gorgeous cover on my Library reading app, I reserved it immediately. I had no expectations going in and I fell in love with the story. This book follows Sara who is an influencer and when she gets stood up by her boyfriend she asks Luis to be her fake boyfriend for her vacation so her family don't know about the no show. Luis is also a firefighter (I'm starting to notice a theme here). This book is the first in a series and I cannot wait to continue.

6. Lovewrecked - Karina Halle

This book is very different than the others as it is set around four people who end up getting shipwrecked for weeks on a deserted island near Fiji. I have read a few books from Karina and this is one of my favourites. Daisy and Tai do not get along but hate to love is one of my favourite tropes so it's no surprise that I loved this one. And I loved the plot of being stuck on an island, it made me want to watch Lost!

7. The Unhoneymooners - Christina Lauren

And speaking of hate to love, meet The Unhoneymooners! This was one of my favourite books of 2019 and it really is an incredible rom-com. This follows Olive and Ethan who end up going on her sister's honeymoon that she won but can no longer go on. I don't want to say anything else but this is such a fun read!

I have created a GoodReads shelf so you can add any or all of them to your TBRs!
