Recent Reads #18: All the Romances

- This post contains a Netgalley arc -

I have been reading a tonne lately so I have been posting so many more book reviews than I used to and I have been really enjoying it. These are four books I have read in the last couple of weeks that I haven't talked about yet!
Recent Reads #18: All the Romances
The Takeover - T. L Swan

I have been a fan of this author for a while and I think this is a new favourite! As always I love the writing style, it's so easy to read and I couldn't put the book down. I loved every character in this book, Claire and Tristian are such a good couple even though Claire did frustrate me at times.

I loved the dual perspective and I really did love Tristian's chapters. Tristian is one swoon-worthy man, I loved how much he loved her kids and treated them as his own. Especially with Harry. I also really liked the dyslexia representation in this, it isn't talked about enough in books so I appreciated that. This book had some seriously hilarious moments with Tristian and the kids, I couldn't stop laughing about how they met each other.

I really liked the ending and all of the slightly over the topness of this book and the only reason I didn't give this book five stars because I wanted an epilogue. This author always writes pretty unpredictable romances and I can't get enough of them. This book is out in August.

The Wedding Party - Jasmine Guillory

After I read Party of Two (spoiler-free review here), I needed more of her writing in my life and I remembered I had already purchased The Wedding Party. This was a fun easy read with a, will they? won't they? romance. I didn't like it as much as Party of Two but I still enjoyed it. This was kind of a hate to love romance of Alexa's two best friends but I never really got the hate between the two of them. When Alexa finds out, it is my favourite party of the book.

 Well Met - Jen DeLuca

I adored this book! This is a romance set at a renaissance faire with a romance between Emily and Simon. Emily is new to town to help out her sister and her niece when she volunteers for the renaissance fair and meets Simon. They dislike each other at first but while in their roles in the faire, they start liking each other. I can't say enough good things about this book, it was such a fun rom-com and I can't wait for the next book in the series. It's only £1.49 on ebook at the moment too.

The Right Swipe - Alisha Rai

I have had this on my kindle since its release last year and finally got around to reading it. Rhiannon is the owner of a dating app and she is wanting to purchase a rival app but when she goes to an event for the app, she realises that a guy she had a one night stand with, Samson, is the new spokesperson for that app! This book was so much more than I was expecting.
